Announcement: Overlord Data Book

Hi Guys,

To be honest with you all, I am honestly getting tired of translating the Web Novel. Now, this is not to say that I will stop; I fully intend on finishing this project. However, I do want to try something different.

So I am going to begin to translate the Overlord Data Book after I post the next chapter. Hooray!

Now, I have no experience doing typesetting and all that manga stuff so what I am going to do is to make a large text document with all of the words inside and I will let people in the community freely use the text.

So to all those typesetters out there, please tell me how I should format the things, cause I am at a loss and most of the stuff I see out there is for manga.

　There was an encampment right in the middle of the plains.

　Making a simple fence with felled trees, the tents formed a circle within. And built with other trees were three unstable looking watchtowers leaning lazily within the camp.

　The well made tents were set up in the centre, and the dilapidated ones were hung on the outside. However, the number of tents seemed large enough to contain 1000 men, and the encampment was quite large.

　The moon was climbing up into the sky, and many men were tired from the long march and fell into deep sleep.

　Inside such a quiet encampment, one person’s voice could he heard in the centre area.

　There, a large fire was burning.

　The crimson fire stretched to the sky, and countless sparks fell away into the darkness like stars falling to the ground. The surrounding darkness could not move close to its light.

　As the fire burned, there were men waiting for the next watch.

　It was not a few men, but a hundred of them. Considering the scale of the camp, this was a small number but their presence was strongly felt amongst the looming darkness. Those men talked amongst themselves as they waited for time to pass. Even if whispering, combined, they made quite the ruckus.

　The sound of the camp was created by the conversation of the night watch.

　Exactly one month after the Empire’s proclamation.

　The fields were ripe with the fruits of autumn, and welcomed the shining golden colour. A light breeze blew and the blue skies were clear. The white clouds were few and floated in the sky.

　The months after this would only get colder, but this season was the busiest of the year. If one took in deep breaths, the clear air would enter their lungs. The warm air that was present a few weeks ago was nowhere to be found.

Question: What should Ainz’s Noble Title Be?

Hi Everyone, sorry this is not a chapter.

I was reading through the wiki when I realised that Frontier Earl (辺境伯) in Japanese is actually a Margrave. Sorry about that.

This then brings up the question of what we should call this 辺境侯. And what we should call his territory. To be honest, Frontier Marquis sounds terrible.

I have been looking at the English and Japanese wikipedia pages for nobles but this term has never been created and only makes sense in Japanese.

I am currently leaning towards calling him a version of (Markmarquis) since semantically Margrave was formed from the German of Margraf or Count/Earl of the March.

If you have any ideas please post in the comments. Give our god a proper name!

　Jircniv arrived at a hemispherical room. He stood before a pair of vast double doors. Intricate carvings decorated both sides of the doors; a beautiful goddess on the right and a cruel-looking demon on the left. Countless ominous-looking statues were arrayed around them.
　If one had to give it a name, it would probably be “The Gates of Judgement.” Jircniv pondered those doors as he looked over them.
